Monday Monday
Ho hum. Day off. Took the child to orientation @ the high school- incoming freshman you know....
got sucked into watching this tv show Mad Men http://www.amctv.com/originals/madmen/
it's really very very good. It was playing this morning when I was flipping through the channels I happened upon it and voila! it's four hours later. I did run errands and laundry, washed the dog etc but this show is like on ALL DAY. How nice for the unemployed and retired.
I am green with envy.
My tattoo is kinda gross right now, its kind of peely and itchy.

27 things update...
Okay so I am done with the 27 things for work.
I can't even get through my top 7 things on my personal to-do list so the 27 things is over with.
It would be very cool to blog on company time but por que? I dont even have time to do my job on company time.
Plus OMG I don't want to be concerned about who is or is not reading my blog and who I may or may not have offended. Like I GAF anyway.
Trend of the week- breaking expressions down to nomore than 3 letters :)

Library Snobs
I really really like books.
I really enjoy helping people get books (i.e.- suggesting books & checking them out...).
I really do not enjoy being around people who are totally full of themselves. There are a lot of 'snobs' in the library system where I work. This is a downside to my job.
The upside-
1. The business I work for has made the front page of the local newspaper which was sort of cool. People I know were like "hey whats going on" and I was like "no clue, not paid to read the paper".
2. I can count on staff at my branch NOT knowing procedure. This is cool to me because if I know whats going on and they don't it makes me feel like at least I was paying attention during instruction. Mostly though its because I've been here longer than anyone else.
3. The excitement when people discover a new author or series.
4. I work right by a Starbucks.
5. I can get home from work in 13 minutes flat speeding in clear weather.
